Rajamouli’s Eega Releasing in 4 Languages

S.S. Rajamouli’s experimental directorial flick Eega is progressing at a brisk pace and the film-makers are planning to release the film in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi languages. Eega is being shot in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously while it will be dubbed into Hindi and Kannada languages. In this regard, the producers and the distributors from other film industries are fighting for bagging the dubbing rights of this Rajamouli brand film.

Nani, Samantha and Sudeep are playing the lead roles in the film. Eega is being produced by Sai Korrapati and writer Janardhan Maharshi is penning the dialogues for the Telugu version of the film.

Eega Has No Resemblance to Fly: Rajamouli

Director Rajamouli’s experimental film Eega shoot is progressing in Hyderabad. Rajamouli has recently quashed the rumors on Kajal’s item number in Eega. Lately, there has been another gossip making rounds that Eega is inspired from a Hollywood film Fly.

However, Rajamouli informs that there is absolutely no connection between his Eega and Fly. Fly is a Horror/SciFi film, where as Eega is an Action/Comedy film. Nani and Samantha are playing the leads in the film while Sudeep is roped in for the antagonist role.

Eega was supposed to hit the big screens in the month of September but sources say it might be postponed to January 2012 as the shoot is running behind the pre-planned schedules.

No Item Songs in Eega: Rajamouli

Director Rajamouli’s experimental film Eega is progressing at a rapid pace. Meanwhile, there has been a buzz that Kajal Agarwal is roped in for an item number in the film. Quashing out such rumors Rajamouli said that Kajal Agarwal is not part of Eega and there aren’t any item songs in Eega.

“News that Kajal doing an item number in Eega are not true. There are no item songs in eega. Just a baseless rumour,” Rajamouli informed.

Nani, Samantha and Sudeep are playing the main roles in Eega, where the story revolves around a house-fly. Eega is being produced by Sai Korrapati while Suresh Babu is presenting it. Eega has music by Keeravani, cinematography by Senthil and visual effects by Kamal Kannan. The film is being made simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil versions.
