Young Music Director Anil Murdered!

Young music director Anil has breathed his last in the month of April and it is believed that he died of heart failure. Nearly after 3 months of his death, his family members are suspecting that his death is not natural and he may have been murdered.

Anil’s family says that he never had heart-attacks before and is completely fit in health. The family members of Anil doubt that Shalini, Anil’s fiancé and her family are involved in this murder. They registered a complaint with the Cyberabad Police and the investigation has started. The police has exhumed his body from Bhoiguda burial ground and sent for the post-mortem. The post-mortem has arrived on Wednesday reveals that there were some internal injuries in the head.

Prakash Reddy, Anil’s brother requested the police to investigate the case thoroughly.

Murder Case on Meera Chopra

Meera Chopra, who acted in films like Bangaram, Vaana is being pursued by police in a murder case of a Delhi housewife Ruchi Buttan. The Police have registered an FIR against the actress under the section 120B of the IPC. Ruchi Buttan was found dead in a house in Guragon and a day after [on Wednesday], the Police has arrested her husband Sumit Bhuttan for killing his wife. It seems that Sumit has an extra-marital relationship with the actress Meera Chopra and Ruchi’s sister Shefali claims that Meera Chopra is also involved in the murder.

"Sumit first killed and then hanged her. He has an affair with model Meera Chopra, cousin sister of Priyanka Chopra,” says Ruchi’s sister Shefali.

“A police team has been sent to Delhi to arrest the model turned actress Meera Chopra. After arresting her, she would be produced in court and the further investigation will be preceded on her role in the Ruchi’s murder,” informed the Police officials.

Director VR Prathap is No More!

Film director VR Prathap died of cancer on Monday evening at a hospital in Hyderabad. He hails from Tenali and is survived by wife and daughter.

State Government to Monopolize Online Movie Ticketing!

We has earlier reported that the Andhra Pradesh State Government has taken a surprising decision of banning the online movie ticketing in the state. The decision has immediately been implemented and the movie portals such as Book My Show, No More Queue, along with PVR, Fame, Big Cinemas theaters have stopped their online movie bookings. The latest we hear is the State government has decided to monopolize the online ticketing business. The Govt officials have taken the decision to let only one single company to operate the online ticketing for all the cinemas.

The other interesting fact is 50% of the inventory must be offered for the company, by all the cinemas for selling the tickets online. N V Ramana Babu, who owns the company Galaxy Entertainers Pvt. Ltd was awarded a 5 year contract but the company is presently dormant, says the ministry of corporate affairs’ site. Neither the State government nor the Police seem to have the clear vision on the issue, which is further causing confusion to the online ticketing companies. As a result, the major sites have stopped the entire online booking. Added to this, the government is restricting the service charge for the each ticket as Rs.6, where the regular service charge was Rs.15. Shockingly, KyaZoonga is still continuing its services with a service charge of Rs.15. Whether the government will demand them to halt their services or not is still awaited.

Ban on Online Movie Ticketing in A.P?

BookMyShow, a movie ticketing portal has banned its online ticket bookings in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Though the reason has been not disclosed by their officials, it is said that A.P Government authorities has forced them for a ban.

It is said that, due to statutory reasons, the government of A.P has made it mandatory to stop all the online ticketing in the state. The further notice on this is awaited. While rest of the services like travel etc will be carried out, the ban is specifically on Cinema ticket bookings. The other official online movie ticketing sites PVR, Fame, Big Cinemas et al, which are mostly managed by BookMyShow and Big Tree Entertainment has halted their online bookings. Unlike these, Kyazoonga is still allowing the bookings.

TFI Strike Called-off Today

Rajanna Movie Set Burnt, 70 Lakhs Property Loss!

Nagarjuna’s undershoot film Rajanna is being shot near Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad from the past few days and a huge village set has been erected for the schedule. But accidentally, the set has caught fire and the entire set was burnt completely, which made a loss of 70 lakhs to the producer on Tuesday.

India Beat Pakistan By 29 Runs in 2011 World Cup Semifinal

Mohali: It promised to be a thriller and the India versus Pakistan semi final match turned out to be a super Wednesday blockbuster as the hosts registered an emphatic 29 run win and set a date against Sri Lanka in the final match of the World Cup.

Though there were streaks of individual brilliance when India came out to bat, it was the bowlers who played with focussed intent to defend the 260 run total. Skipper MS Dhoni switched between pace and spin regularly and his bowlers did not let him or the fans present at the Punjab Cricket Association stadium here, down.

The openers gave Pakistan a good start with Kamran Akmal and Mohammad Hafeez stroking the ball to the fence on numerous occasions. It was the reliable war-horse in Zaheer Khan who brought about the first blow when his slower ball confused Akmal and his square drive only to find a waiting Yuvraj Singh at point.

New man in Asad Shafiq and Hafeez held the inning together for all of 26 runs for the second wicket but this time it was the other pacer in Munaf Patel who dug in. An edge from Hafeez and Dhoni gladly accepted the offering.

Pakistan perhaps would rue the fact that they built partnerships but could not capitalise on any of them as the likes of Shafiq, Younis Khan and Umar Akmal all fell prey to the Indian spinners once Dhoni introduced them to replace the faster bowlers.

Yuvraj Singh in particular, ensured that his first ball duck was erased when he cleaned the stumps behind Shafiq and returned to remove Younis. Though Harbhajan too contributed with crucial wickets, it was the duo of Munaf and Ashish Nehra who returned into action to send the Pakistan tail packing.

Earlier in the day, India managed to score 260 on a track that promised a 300-plus total. This after Tendulkar enjoyed a spell of mesmerising good fortune to score 85. He was supported well by Virender Sehwag (38), Gautam Gambhir (27) and Dhoni (25). The other batsmen though, were left clueless by Pakistan’s seamer Wahab Riaz who took 5 wickets for 46 in his full quota of overs.

Suresh Raina came to the crease after Riaz struck terror and managed to lash out in the final few overs to take his team to a modest total, although it was more than the average 1st innings total in a day and night match here at Mohali, by 11 runs.

In the end though, it proved to be enough to keep the Pakistan batsmen guessing as the Indians ensured a final against Sri Lanka on the 3rd which could perhaps be as thrilling as the one on Wednesday.

'Nootokka Jillala Andagaadu' Nutan Prasad Is No More

Popular villain-turned-character artiste Nutan Prasad is no more. The 61-year old versatile actor, who was ailing for some time, died while being taken to Apollo Hospitals in Hyderabad on Wednesday morning.

Born on October 10, 1950, Nutan Prasad, whose real name was Tadinada Vara Prasad, started his career as a theatre artiste and made his entry into films with Andala Ramudu as a small-time villain. He played a similar role in Mutyala Muggu, which brought him a lot of name and fame.

His acting career reached its peak with the movie "Rajadhiraju" in which he acted as Saitan. The movie became very popular by his acting and the song " Kotta devudandi babu kotta devudandi" is still popular till today.

Nutan Prasad although acted with all the generation of heroes was particularly popular with the second generation heroes. Movies like "Patnam Vachina Pativratalu", "Khaidi (village munsab)", "Magamaharaju" ,"Srivariki Premalekha", "Kathanayakudu", "Aha Naa Pellanta" etc continued his winning streak.

He was famous for dialogues such as "Desham chala klishta paristitilo undhi..." and “Nootokka Jillala Andaganni”. In 1989 While shooting for the film Baama Maata Bangaaru Baata he had an accident on his spine that left him paralysed from the waist down and since then, he had to use wheel chair. He then quit acting in movies. Once in a while he appeared in guest roles. He also gives voice over and commentary for serials and movies.

He won Nandi award for the best actor in a supporting role in 1984. In 2005, Nutan Prasad was bestowed upon with NTR National award. His dialogue delivery gave villainism a comic touch. He co-starred in many movies with almost all big stars like NTR, ANR, Krishna, Chiru etc doing all kinds of characters like a comedian, villain, character artist etc, he even acted as a hero in one movie.

Before his accident, Nutan Prasad had tried his luck in politics, too. Being a staunch follower of NTR, he joined the Telugu Desam Party and campaigned for the party in the elections. Later, he dropped out of the politics because of accident.

'Slumdog Millionaire' Child Rubina Ali Loses House in Fire

'Slumdog Millionaire' child actor Rubina Ali’s home has burned down in a fire that raged through a crowded slum in the wee hours of Saturday at suburban Bandra in Mumbai.

Rubina Ali shot to international fame for the role of young Latika in Danny Boyle’s Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire, watched helplessly as their home in the crowded slum went up in flames.

"We all were at home watching TV, when a neighbour came to alert us about the fire. We all rushed out. We spent the entire night at the railway station. We only have a few clothes left. My pictures at the Oscars, all my memories, are all gone. We have lost everything. So far nobody has come to help us," the 12-year-old child artiste said.

The fire broke out near Bandra railway station on Friday after which 34 fire engines and 16 jumbo water tankers were rushed to the spot. The exact cause of the fire has not been established but initial reports say five gas cylinders exploded in the slums due to which the fire spread quickly.

Earlier, Director Danny Boyle had promised that he would provide Rubina Ali a house in Mumbai. Rubina Ali said that her family was yet to move into a new apartment paid for by a trust set up by Danny Boyle.

He launched his elder son Aryan Rajesh with Hai but he was more successful with his second son and actor Allari Naresh with whom he made hits like Kithakithalu and Bendu Apparao.

Their third film Kathi Kantharao was Mr Satyanarayana’s last Telugu film.

“He was looking okay even in the afternoon but unfortunately passed away after a heart attack,” said producer Suresh Babu.

Satya narayana’s death will leave a huge gap especially in the comedy films department.

Bhanu Is Also Killed?

A grapevine is spreading wide from High Court lawyers off the record from this morning. Sources say that the police had put an end to Bhanu, the murderer of Maddelachervu Suri on the same day as soon as he committed the crime and went into the shelter of police.

As per the sources, Suri’s murder was a clear ploy by police in association with realtors and a few politicians. Suri had been growing bigger day by day and started becoming tough nut for many. He gave impression that he was going to dictate terms to the system in AP down the line. Hence many planned to eliminate him for their own growth. Since Suri said that he is planning to get into politics and announcing that he wanted to live peaceful life, police and his opponents have got no way to trap him in the net of law.

So, some politicians have instigated him so that he can commit crime and gets into the shackles of law. But shrewd Suri had known the tricks of law and hence he started carving his own plans to settle things without falling in the eye of law.

Hence the only choice left was putting an internal fire between Suri and his close ally Bhanu and ending both the lives one by one. Bhanu was lured by some big currency and ended Suri’s life. And Bhanu was later killed by police as he can become another tough nut down the line, say sources. Suri’s murder took place without the knowledge of Madhu, say many.

Some say if Bhanu is not yet killed, he will be killed for sure by police in the name of ‘encounter’. And Bhanu was a big weapon dealer. Police may buy some bullets from him and then kill him with the same private bullets to give color that some supporters of Suri killed him. Anthing of the above is going to happen for sure, say many.
