Nagarjuna Enters Just Before Interval in Rajanna Movie!

King Nagarjuna starrer Rajanna touted as a period drama is scheduled for a release on December 23. Rajanna’s run time is said to be of 2hrs 20 minutes while Nagarjuna makes his entry only few minutes before interval. The story runs around a young girl Annie who is playing vital role in the film.

Rajanna directed by Vijayendra Prasad has reportedly shaped up well and Keeravani’s musical tunes are rocking the chartbusters. Nagarjuna produced the movie on Annapurna Studios banner. Sneha played the leading lady.

Rajanna story is set in the Telagana backdrop in the 1950’s period.

Nagarjuna Expects Big Hit With Rajanna

Nagarjuna Damarukam Updated News

After completing the current schedule in a specially erected set at Annapurna Studios King Nagarjuna starrer socio-fantasy flick Damarukam will leave to Karnataka to can few important scenes of the film. It is heard that shooting will take place in ancient temples in the border of Andhra and Karnataka.

According to our sources the heroine of the film Anushka is playing the role of a Deva Kanya who falls in love with common man Nagarjuna and gives him super natural powers to fight evil. The film is made with high technical values and is touted to be a graphical extravaganza.

This is the most expensive film in Nagarjuna’s career. Srinivas Reddy wields the megaphone for this prestigious project and RR Movie Makers are the producers. The film is expected to release on December 21 as Christmas gift.

Nagarjuna Starrer Rajanna Postponed?

King Nagarjuna’s Rajanna in the direction of Vijayendra Prasad was earlier supposed to hit the big-screens on 30th September but the latest buzz says the film might get postponed to mid October.

The postponement is due to the post-production works. Rajanna is a period flick and has stunning action episodes that need high technical post-production works. SS Rajamouli directed few action episodes in the film. Sneha is the heroine and Nag himself is producing it on the banner of Annapurna Studios.

Nagarjuna’s Upcoming Movies

King Nagarjuna seems to be busy with handful of films. The Yuvasamrat, who is presently busy with Rajanna in Vijayendra Prasad direction, is simultaneously allotting his dates to his biggest budget film of his career Damarukam, being directed by Srinivas Reddy and produced by Venkat of RR Movie Makers banner. While Rajanna will hit the big-screens in the end of September for Dussera, Damarukam might see the limelight for January, 2012 for Pongal.

Apart from these promising films, Nagarjuna has okayed another couple of films. Nag has given his nod to portray the role of Lord Sai Baba in a devotional film titled Shirdi Sai. Rajanna Movie Set Burnt, 70 Lakhs Property Loss!

Nagarjuna’s undershoot film Rajanna is being shot near Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad from the past few days and a huge village set has been erected for the schedule. But accidentally, the set has caught fire and the entire set was burnt completely, which made a loss of 70 lakhs to the producer on Tuesday.

The movie is yet to complete few important scenes in the set and it is not yet known if the film-makers go for re-erection of set or goes for an alternative idea. The next schedule of the movie is planned to be canned in Vikarabad.

Gaganam Gets clean U

Nagarjuna starrer Gaganam has completed its censor formalities and has bagged clean U certificate from the censor board. Gaganam, directed by Radha Mohan and produced by Dil Raju is gearing up for its release on 11th February. Gaganam Postponed to 11th Feb!

Nagarjuna starrer Gaganam is postponed yet again. Looks like Gaganam has become real Gaganam for the film-makers to bring down to the screens.
