3 Idiots remake took a new turn again. This film was earlier planned to be made with Vijay in Tamil and Maheshbabu in Telugu. But due to some creative differences both the stars walked away from the project. Then Gemini Film Circuit approached Suriya and thought of making the film in both the languages with him in the lead.
As per the latest developments, Suriya too has walked out of Naanban (Tamil remake title) due to personal reasons. Meanwhile Vijay once again has shown interest to be a part of this film. Shankar roped in Vijay to do Aamir Khan’s role in Tamil version.
Jeeva and Sriram (Srikanth) will play the other leads. Ileana is the female lead and Satya Raj plays the principal character. The suspense over Telugu version’s lead is still on. Producers are reportedly negotiating with Mahesh Babu.
