Superstar Mahesh Babu desperately needs a super hit currently to restore his stardom. Mahesh has no super hit in his account post Pokiri and his last couple of films Athidhi and Khaleja turning out as disasters made him stay away from top position for a while.

Mahesh’s craze, Srinu Vytla’s hit rate, 14 Reels Entertainment banner’s rich production values and the successful cast and crew helped Dookudu in making good pre-release business all over including overseas.
Dookudu will release in highest number of theaters and majority of theaters in A.P will screen only Dookudu in its first week. Adding to that, the preponement of Dussera holidays due to Telangana bandh should definitely help the movie in pulling the crowds especially the youth to theaters. The cast and crew including Mahesh Babu are quite confident and are eagerly looking forward for the film’s release which is raising the expectations much more.
