Ram Gopal Varma's directorial Katha Screenplay Darshakathvam: Appalaraju has received the worst reviews from the day 1 of its release. The audiences were rating the film as one of biggest disasters from Varma. The second half of the film was quite dragging and it has become a test for audiences patience as the run time of the film is also 2 hours 41 minutes long.
Though RGV has come up with an interesting storyline, he has failed in its narration with weak screenplay. Considering the response of the audience, the film-makers have finally decided to cut down the run-time of the film by 32 minutes. The new trimmed versions are being screened across the theaters from the last Sunday.
